What Does Science Say
Many researchers are convinced that water is capable of “memory” by storing information and retrieving it. The possible applications are innumerable: limitless retention and storage capacity and the key to discovering the origins of life on our planet. Research into water is just beginning.
Your body starts out comprised of 80% water when you are born. When many people die, they are at 50% water. Now it may seem pretty simplistic to point to water as the source of aging, but proper hydration is needed for fat metabolism, to remove waste from cells, and to keep your brain healthy. We also use water for transporting nutrients and wastes, lubrication, temperature regulation, and tissue structure maintenance.
It is also important to know that 48% of older adults admitted to Emergency Rooms had laboratory values indicative of dehydration. Chronic dehydration can lead to many problems such as constipation, poor performance in athletics, and can exacerbate many health issues such as allergies, asthma, diabetes, hypertension and arthritis. Proper hydration may seem simple, but things that are simple can be overlooked as valuable.
Here at the FINDING HEALTH CLINIC in Barrie we teach 6 simple to learn BODYTALK ACCESS TECHNIQUES which include …
HYDRATION – You’ve heard me nag often enough that the body is 70 to 80 percent water. All physiological processes in the cells, nerves, organs and other structures are dependent upon a good supply of water. Even if someone drinks plenty of water, the body may not be utilizing it well. Your brain is 2% of your entire body weight but uses over 75% of the fluid to communicate and run your systems proficiently. Very often, the transportation of water across the cell membranes is compromised. The BodyTalk Hydration Technique helps to correct the body’s ability to fully use the water it has available – thereby greatly improving the efficiency of all physiological processes. Proper hydration helps you feel well, happier and more optimistic, more flexible and ultimately pain free!
