I have taken over 26 Body Talk Trainings over the past 13 years and there is still more to learn. I am taking a new training on Feb 28th to integrate into my practice and take a deeper look at allergies, dis-ease and memory issues … and how to address it.
Heavy Metal Poisoning is often overlooked in conventional medicine, but the body knows the toxic load challenging it and how it safely and gently needs to address it.
Some of the first symptoms, like hair loss and extreme fatigue, are not always easily recognizable. It can also be at the root of many digestive disorders. Unfortunately, metal poisoning, (especially lead poisoning), can easily masquerade as major diseases like multiple sclerosis and chronic fatigue syndrome, making it difficult to diagnose. Heavy metal poisoning also affects the brain very badly and can be particularly detrimental in children whose brains are still developing.
Most of your conventional tests, such as blood tests, do not accurately detect heavy metals. We do know hair analysis or a 24-hour urine test are often far more revealing, but not everyone goes to a naturopath.
How do we get HM’s? Heavy metals can be anywhere. Consider this, until 1979, lead paint was still legal in North America, so home renovations on older houses can be very dangerous without proper precautions. Lead is also in the soldering of pipes in old houses, and it is still common in mirrors.
Did you know heavy metals can be in food products that aren’t immediately obvious either, like processed chocolate!!! Arsenic and antimony can be in polyester clothing. Aluminum was in toothpaste, deodorants, pots, and pans. The list goes on. The body stores toxins in fatty tissue so that the organs are protected. You are Unique!! What is your body telling you?
This course will educate me further on the pervasiveness of heavy metals, what to look for in clients and how to address it, both through BodyTalk and other support strategies.
