When Stress Takes Over, Try this Easy SOS Technique

Have you ever caught yourself saying something to yourself that you would never say to a friend?

The voice in our head can be surprisingly harsh.

Many of us were unknowingly programmed to run negative self-talk loops … looking at the bad that could happen instead of the good that could happen.

If we don’t catch these thoughts, they start shaping how we see ourselves and our lives.

But here’s something interesting.
Every thought carries an emotional tone.
And every emotional tone carries a frequency.

There’s a Frequency for That
Your thoughts are frequencies your body listens to.

Over time those repeated signals can become the background music of our lives.

But life is meant to be about growth…

We change.
We learn.
We evolve.

Being human is actually a gift!

Instead of saying “I’m only human”, or the most recent term “my bad”, or repeating the old “I can’t” stories that may have been decided when we were six, twelve, or eighteen years old…

Catch yourself with this SOS:

S…Stop. Catch the negative thought.
O…Observe it. Notice the energy of it and how it feels in your body.
S…Shift the signal. Instead of rehearsing an “I can’t” thought, try broadcasting “What if I can?” instead, and watch what begins to shift.

Your brain answers the questions you ask it …
so let’s choose better questions!

What is one “What if I can?” you might test out today?

Once you start changing the emotional tone,
your brain welcomes new frequencies
… opening you up to positive energy and emotions.
