The Person You Were Then.
“Stop haunting the past — it wouldn’t recognize you anyway.”
I’ve always found that statement profound. Because it’s true… the person you were then, doesn’t exist anymore.
And neither do the “problems” you think you’re still carrying.
Yesterday’s struggles are memories, nothing more. They don’t get to follow you unless you keep dragging them forward.
Today has its own rhythm,
its own clarity,
its own strength —
and you naturally meet today with the strength you have now.

And tomorrow?
You don’t need to worry about tomorrow’s “problems” yet. We haven’t grown into it yet.
We don’t have tomorrow’s strength because we’re not meant to. We’re resourced for this moment, no more, no less.
And maybe the most liberating truth of all…
What if none of this is even a “problem,” unless you declare it to be so?
What if it’s just life moving through you, asking to be met with presence instead of fear?
That one shift alone changes everything, doesn’t it.
Live in today’s rhythm,
~ Jessy
